"I had to blog after my encounter with American Taxi and my saving grace with The Yellow Cab, Co. Staying at a local hotel 10 days ago, I asked the front desk to call a cab as I was headed to Ormond Beach to catch Hull's Seafood before they closed. The cab arrived and I could not stay in the mini van due to an over abundance of tobacco smoke odor, dankness and over all feeling of sleeziness. Questioning the cab driver, he said no one had been smoking and pulled out a can of air freshner and sprayed. I apologized as I exited due to my sensitivity to the smoke. He promised to send another cab. He did and I thought the only difference was the cab driver had I not seen the 1st cabbie driving down the street as I headed on foot down Atlantic Ave to find a way to Ormond Beach. I chanced upon the Caribe Hotel near by where the man on duty called The Yellow Cab Co.: Cab No. 33 was the answer to my prayer. Clean. No Smoke. Personable Driver Priceless! Yellow Cab #33 is to be commended."
